본 연구는 청소년 시기 진학 고등학교 유형에 따라 창의성과 진로성숙도 간의 관계가 어떻게 달라지는지를 종단 데이터를 활용해 동시효과와 지연효과의 관점에서 분석하였다. 창의성과 진로성숙도는 청소년기의 중요한 발달 요인으로, 이들의 관계는 교육 환경과 학습 경험에 따라 다르게 나타날 수 있다. 특히, 학교 유형은 학생들이 경험하는 학습 기회와 진로 탐색 과정에 중대한 영향을 미치는 중요한 맥락적 요인으로 작용한다. 이에 본 연구는 일반고, 자율･특목고, 특성화고 학생들을 대상으로 창의성이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향력을 탐색하였다. 이를 위하여 통제변수를 포함한 비선형 조건 잠재성장모형을 활용하여 동시효과와 지연효과를 분석하였으며, 이후 진학 고등학교 유형에 따른 다집단 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 창의성은 중학교와 고등학교 전반에 걸쳐 진로성숙도에 안정적인 동시효과를 보였으나, 지연효과에서는 진학 고등학교 유형별 차이가 나타났다. 일반고는 중학교 및 고등학교 시기 전반에 걸쳐 안정적인 지연효과를 보였고, 자율･특목고는 중3에서 고1로 넘어가는 시점에 유의한 영향을 보였으며, 특성화고는 모든 시기에서 유의한 지연효과를 나타냈으나 효과 크기는 상대적으로 낮았다. 이 연구는 창의성이 진로성숙도 발달의 중요한 예측 요인임을 확인하고, 학교 유형별로 차별적인 교육 환경에 따른 맞춤형 진로교육 방안 설계의 필요성을 강조하였다.
This study examined how the relationship between creativity and career maturity varies by school type, focusing on simultaneous and lagged effects through the use of latent growth modeling. Creativity and career maturity are critical factors during adolescence and are influenced by educational environments and learning experiences. Using nonlinear conditional latent growth modeling with control variables, the study analyzed data from students attending general, specialized, and vocational high schools. The results showed that creativity exerted stable simultaneous effects on career maturity throughout middle and high school, while lagged effects differed across school types. Creativity in the first year of high school significantly influenced career maturity in the second year among students in general high schools. In specialized high schools, creativity had a significant impact during the transition from middle to high school. In vocational high schools, lagged effects were observed across all periods, although the effect sizes were relatively smaller. These findings highlight the importance of creativity as a predictor of career maturity and underscore the need for tailored career education programs designed for different school types.
