This study explored the operation plan for physical education classes for lower elementary school students according to the revised 2022 curriculum. Data were collected using previous literature and in-depth interviews, and inductive category analysis was applied. The results revealed that the revised 2022 curriculum has been largely discussed in terms of the role of physical activity, foreign cases, the current status and problems of physical education in the integrated curriculum for first- and second-grade elementary school students, terms related to physical education in lower grades of elementary school, and the curriculum system as a whole. The integrated curriculum operation plan for elementary school physical education was categorized into the contents of educational activities and staff teaching capacity. This study focused on developing the terminology and content of integrated physical activity-related subjects for elemen tary school students, improving perspectives on operating classes, and creating an environment for integrating physical activities with other subjects. Physical education in early elementary school will help create a culture in which students can enjoy sports in their daily lives through the systematically teaching of physical activity.
