One of the important thing in lifelong education is to secure fund. This article analyzed the lifelong education fund in central government. Not only the Ministry of Education but all the other ministries were the target group. This article shows the standard and items which could be included in the lifelong education fund. Based on the standard, fund for each ministry was analyzed. The fund for Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor, and Ministry of Culture were presented. The total lifelong education fund for the Ministry of Education was less than those of the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Culture. The Ministry of Education was revealed as \'the Ministry of School\'. The total funds for Korean central government were calculated and the percentage of lifelong education versus total budget was presented. Lifelong education budget was categorized by several functions such as fund for employees of each ministry and for general public, fund for vocational education and general education, and fund for each target groups. Lifelong education activities of each ministry were presented and the characteristics of the budget of Korean lifelong education and its future direction were discussed.
