The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of a creative group by
grouping subjects with the components of a creative group extracted from the result of
literature review.
With the purpose of the study, one hypotheses established and verified are as follows :
In testing Hypothesis 3, the subjects were grouped by the components of extracted from
literature review to investigate the characteristics of a group of producing creative ideas. Two
components extracted from literature review were the skill of interpersonal relations and
decision-making, which were classified into high ․ low levels respectively, and then creative
ideas of the groups were analyzed. Each group was divided into 4 groups of high ․ low skill
of decision-making and high ․ low skill of interpersonal relations. The total number of
analyzed groups was 47 teams, which were 11 teams with composed of high skill group of
decision-making and high skill group of interpersonal relations, 10 teams with composed of
high skill group of decision-making and low skill of interpersonal relations, 13 teams with
composed of low skill group of decision making and high skill group of interpersonal
relations, and 13 teams with composed of low skill of decision-making and low skill group of
interpersonal relations. In the testing results, the effect of skill of interpersonal relations was
verified, which was F=15.84, P<.001, but the effect of the skill of decision-making and
interaction was not significantly verified.
