본 연구는 ADHD 아동 어머니의 양육 스트레스가 가족 적응력에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 한다. 또한, 어머니의 양육 태도가 아동 발달에 미치는 영향, 다시 순환적으로 아동 발달이 부 모의 부부관계와 가족 기능에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 연구 대상은 현재 서울 시내 소아 정 신과에서 ADHD 진단을 받았거나, ADHD 증상으로 상담 혹은 치료중인 6세~13세 ADHD 아동 의 어머니를 대상으로 실시하였다. 연구도구는 어머니 양육 스트레스 척도와 가족 적응력 척도 를 사용하였다. 자료의 분석은 AMOS 16.0을 사용하여 이루어졌다. 전체 표본을 대상으로 경로 분석을 실시한 결과, ADHD 아동 행동 특성으로 인한 ADHD 아동 어머니의 양육 스트레스가 가족 유연성에 영향을 미치는 경로가 확인되었다. 또한, ADHD 아동 행동 특성으로 인한 ADHD 아동 어머니의 양육스트레스는 가족 의사소통을 매개로 가족 응집성과 가족 유연성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과들이 상담과정에 가지는 함의와 제한점에 대 해 논의하였다.
The present study is aimed to examine how parenting stress derived from mothers of child with ADHD has been influenced on family adaptability. This research shows how significantly parenting stress resulted from ADHD affects life satisfaction in parents and how life satisfaction in them is applied to the parenting attitude as well. Futhermore, it is followed how child development is affected by the parental attitude and highly associated with marital relations and functions in family rotationally. The subjects of the study were mothers of children who are currently diagnosed as ADHD from child psychiatrists in Seoul and aged 6 to 13 in consultation or treatment. It was carried out with tools of parenting stress index and family adaptability and cohesion evaluation scale Ⅳ. The results supported the proposed path model, suggesting that as parenting stress from mothers of child with ADHD may have indirect effect on relationship satisfaction which is mediated by a mechanism such as family adaptability. The results above led to the conclusion that several measures were suggested in order to manage parental stress and to further discuss the significance and difficulty in this study based on these findings.
