수학 문장제 해결과 유추

유추는 근원이나 기저가 되는 한 구조에서 목표인 다른 구조로 사상시키는 것으로 정의된다. 수학을 학습 할 때 새로운 문제가 제시되면 학생들은 예전에 풀었던 비슷한 문제를 생각해내고 그 문제의 해결 방법을 새로운 문제의 해결에 적합하게 변화시켜 해결하려고 한다. 이때 유추가 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 수학 문장제를 해결하고자 할 때 유추가 어떻게 사용되는지를 알아보기 위해서 유추 를 비율적 유추와 유추적 전이의 두 유형으로 나누어 그 과정을 알아본다. 수학 문장제를 해결하기 위해 서는 유추적 전이의 관점이 유효하므로 이를 중심으로 분석하고, 유추에 의한 문제 해결 과정에 영향을 주는 요인에 대해 살펴본다. 그리고 유추의 과정과 유추에 의한 문장제 해결에 영향을 주는 요인을 본 연구자가 우리나라 학생들을 대상으로 한 연구의 결과와 관련지어 논의한다. 본 연구의 결과는 수학 문 장제 지도와 관련하여 구체적인 지도 방법을 모색하기 위한 기초 연구가 될 것이다.

영문초록

An analogy can be defined as a mapping from one structure, the base or source to another. It can be a very useful thinking tool for mathematical problem solving. In this paper, we describe components of processes that are generally assumed to be required for successful analogical problem solving when the source and the target problems share constraints and problem spaces. There are many different processes which have been proposed to have a role in analogical problem solving. We focused on five: representation, retrieval, mapping, adaptation, and learning. And we analyse factors which affect analogical problem solving. Also we discuss analogical problem solving performance of korean middle school students. we urge continued development of methodologies through students have opportunities to experience much more analogical problem solving.
