One of the important topics in current mathematics education research is mathematical connections. Mathematical connections has been highlighted as one of the important goal for all students. But, there are few studies on the concrete subjects and teaching methods about mathematical connections. Therefore this article shows various contents and teaching methods, emphasizing the mathematical connections. Especially, teaching methods about tessellations and golden ratio are presented. This study will give ideas for teachers to motivate their students to have interest in mathematics and to apply mathematical knowledge in real life. And also we need to continuously develop contents and teaching methods about mathematical connections.
