본 연구는 TV 드라마 속에 설정된 장애인들을 통해 우리 사회가 장애인에 대해 어떤 이미지를 드 러내고 있는지 방송 3사의 드라마 중 장애인이 주인공으로 등장하면서 평균 시청률이 10%이상으로 높은 드라마를 각각 1편씩 선정하여 내용 분석 하였다. 분석 결과, 장애인에 대한 인식이 나타난 회 차별 건수는 총 52건으로 이중 36건(69%)이 의료-한계 유형이었고, 가장 바람직한 장애관인 사회-다 양성 유형은 9건(17%)으로 나타났다. 이는 아직도 우리사회가 장애를 ‘다름’으로 정의하고 장애인을 ‘주체적 삶의 주인공’으로 보기보다는 장애를 병리적 현상과 비극으로 봄으로써 장애인을 치료나 동 정의 대상 또는 불완전하고 열등한 존재로 바라본다는 것을 의미한다. 한 번 각인된 장애인의 부정적 인식을 바꾸는 것이 쉽지 않다는 점에서 볼 때, 장애인을 있는 그 대로의 모습으로 편견 없이 보여주는 ‘사회적 모델’과 ‘인간적 다양성 프레임’의 개념이 활용되어진 ‘사회-다양성 유형’의 드라마들이 더 많이 제작되어져야 될 것이며, 이를 위해 드라마 제작자들의 장 애인에 대한 인식변화가 선행 되어야 될 것으로 판단된다.
This study aimed to analyze Images of social members about people with disabilities by selecting each one drama among three main broadcasting companies respectively which has the disabled who acting in TV drama. As a result of the analysis, there were total 52 case of understanding for people with disabilities, the 36 cases(69%) was a type of medical-limits, 9 cases(17%) were a type social-variety, which cognition for people with disabilities was most desirable. It is meaning that our society has been considering the disabled as treatment of target or sympathy or as imperfect or inferior person and by thinking and considering the disabled as pathological phenomenon and tragedy than disability is defined as 'difference' and considering people with disabilities treated as hero of subjective life. From a view of that it is difficult to change the negative Images for people with disabilities which once was stamped, many dramas of 'social-variety' type with concept of 'human variety frame' used, that including 'social model' which shows disable's natural life without a biased view must be produced. For this, a change of Images of drama producers for the disabled must be preceded.
