To find out the problems of uniformed science subject program showing on TV(including educational channel of Cable TV) and their solutions, the weekly programs on TV educational science program were analyzed the questionaries were distributed to the middle and high school students for surveying their opinion on science program on TV.
Based on results, the following conditions about activation and future direction of present TV science program were suggested.
1. To give rise to student's interest about science and to develope creative thinking power, the structure of science program must properly be harmonized with scientific concept, contents, diverse scenes, and experiments which can induce scientific investigation power. Diverse and original data must be presented to science programs.
2. To improve the quantity of science programs and the contents, TV programs must restrict the extent of scientific contents.
3. For students to positively participate in TV science programs, one-sided teacher's explanation must be reduced and problem-solving ability must be considered first.
4. Programs that induce students' interest and involvement in studying must be developed.
5. Public information must be strengthened and the characteristic and requirement of TV viewers must completely be analyzed and must daringly be received.
