This study was to examine the relationship among persistence, self-esteem and achievement goal orientation of Kumdo participants. The data were analyzed by exploratory/confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis and structural model analysis using SPSS PC+ 11.0 and AMOS 7.0 program. The results were as follows: First, persistence of Kumdo participants had significant positive(+) influenced on self-esteem. Second, persistence of Kumdo participants had not significantly influenced on achievement goal orientation. Third, self-esteem of Kumdo participants had not significantly influenced on achievement goal orientation.
