본 연구는 검도참여자 187명을 대상으로 끈기, 자아존중감 및 성취목표성향의 관계를 규명하였으며, 그 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 검도참여자의 끈기는 자아존중감에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 검도참여자의 끈기는 성취목표성향에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 검도참여자의 자아존중감은 성취목표성향에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다.
This study was to examine the relationship among persistence, self-esteem and achievement goal orientation of Kumdo participants. The data were analyzed by exploratory/confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis and structural model analysis using SPSS PC+ 11.0 and AMOS 7.0 program. The results were as follows: First, persistence of Kumdo participants had significant positive(+) influenced on self-esteem. Second, persistence of Kumdo participants had not significantly influenced on achievement goal orientation. Third, self-esteem of Kumdo participants had not significantly influenced on achievement goal orientation.
