This study has been performed to investigate the perspective from the social worker of the Centers
for the Disabled, for the meaning of the experience of the practice of user involvement. For this study,
nine social workers for less than five years from the Centers for the Disabled were conducted individual
interviews and group interviews, social workers perception of mean and challenge for users involvement,
and a total of three categories and 11 subcategories was determined. As a result, mixing the ideal and
the reality, hocked for custom, altogether exploring of the direction were drawn. On the basis of the
results of these analyzes, in the community rehabilitation facilities including the Centers for the Disabled,
social workers was looking for a practical, administrative and institutional measures to enable user
involvement.
