The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Sandplay therapy with a 8-year old child having depression, anxiety and behavioral problems. The child growing up under a single parent showed emotional and behavioral problems after entering elementary school. Collected data was analyzed by comparing the [before] and [after] of instrument scores(CDI, RCMAS, K-CBCL (aggression, delinquent)), noting the changes in HTP/KFD and interpreting Sandplay therapy process. The comparison result except RCMAS scores showed improvement and it also showed how children experienced self-healing by food intake, regression play, and resolving aggression inside their sandtrays. The findings of this study suggest that Sandplay therapy is effective for children with depression, anxiety and externalizing tendency.
