The purpose of the research was to prove the relationship between teacher's factors of
child-care belief and emotional stability, and child-care efficiency. The subjects were 275
teachers of child-care facilities located in K city and J prefecture area.
The results of the study are as follows.
First, the elder the age and the higher the education was, the stronger child-care belief
was shown. At the same time, the more emotional stability was displayed. The teachers
working in the city were superior in child-care belief and emotional stability than the
teachers working in rural areas.
Second, the modern (child-oriented) belief showed positive correlation with the
emotional stability such as satisfaction, calmness, self-confidence and optimism.
Third, the teacher's child-care belief and child-care efficiency showed positive
correlation.
Fourth, the emotional stability like satisfaction, calmness, self-confidence and optimism
exhibited positive correlation with child-care efficiency.
Finally, the child-care efficiency was positively correlated with both the emotional
stability like satisfaction, calmness, self-confidence, optimism, and the modern
(child-oriented) child-care belief.
