Purpose: The purpose of this study is understand the foreign students' adjustment to higher education institutions in Korea. Method: This research used narrative inquiry for data collection. From February 2011 to march 2011. Data collection was conducted by open-ended interview, questionnaire and close observation. The participants, who were students at located in Gangwon province, were willing to take part in this study. Results: On the basis of these data, the adjustment of foreign students were: 1) Adjustment of the foreign students' challenges Korean language proficiency. 2) The foreign students' experienced new environments 3) they have hard time economical, cultural aspect. 4) Also their campus life were not vivid. They made close relationships with their classmates. Conclusion; 1) Language problem was the first difficulty that the foreign students were faced with in adjusting to Korean campus life. 2) Their studies influenced by the language problem and economical difficulties in living expenses. 3) They also experienced difficulties in unfamiliar foods and living environments, and experiences.
