본 연구는 유아들의 인성교육 과정에서 어떠한 반응이 나타나는지 탐색하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구대 상은 D시의 H유치원 만 5세 54명이다. 유아들에게 총 20주 동안 인성 교육을 하였으며 그 과정에서 2명의 교사가 유아들의 인성 행동에 대한 저널쓰기를 실시하였다. 저널을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결 과를 얻었다. 인성 교육을 실시한 초기, 유아들의 생각과 행동은 일치하지 않았으나, 인성 교육에 대 한 다양한 활동과 바른 행동에 대한 구체적인 안내를 실시한 후 유아들은 바른 행동을 하려고 노력하 는 모습을 보여주었다. 또한 유아들은 교사와 부모의 행동을 보고 배우고, 지속적으로 지도가 계속되 자 유아들은 실생활에 적용하며 바람직한 행동을 보였다. 후기에는 교사가 없을 때도 바람직한 인성 행동을 스스로 지키며 만족하는 모습을 보였다.
The purpose of this study was aimed to search children's reaction in the course of children's personality development process. The subjects was 54 5-year-old at H kindergarten in D city. Two teachers wrote a journal for children's personality behavior during 20 weeks personality education. Journal was analyzed and following result was obtained. At the beginning of personality education, there was a disparity between what children said and what children did. However children showed to try hard from the heart after the introduction of various activities with regard to personality education and detail examples of good behaviors. In addition, children showed good behaviors in real life after continuous education. At late stage of this study, children showed good behaviors and were satisfied by themselves during teacher's absence.
