The study examined the relationship among infants' temperament, instruction measures of child
care teachers and infants' adaptation in child care centers. Infant temperament is inevitably
important now that the temperament could interact with the significant others, for example, child
care teachers.
Also, the way of teaching of child care teachers is related with infants' adaptation. Against this
backdrop, the study calculated and compared the mean and standard deviation to find out the
general description of the overall variables. And the correlation between infants temperament and
adaptation showed that approach-withdrawal was related with every sub-variables of infants
adaptation. And other variables of temperament was partially connected with infants adaptation. In
the other hand, only behavioral instruction for infants' maladaptation of the child care teachers was
significantly related with peer relations of early adaptation in child care centers. The results of the
study showed that the relationship between instruction measures of child care teachers and infants'
early adaptation was very weak.
