세계 어느 곳이든, 칠판은 교실 공간을 구성하는 필수요소 중 하나다. 오래 전부터 칠판은 수업과정에서 구성원들이 소통하는 매개체였으며, 최근에는 기술 발달에 힘입어 그 형태와 기능을 다양화 하고 있다. 오늘날 한국의 학교 현장에서는 ICT 보다 일반칠판을 많 이 활용하는 수업은 구시대적이라고 평가받는 모습을 흔히 볼 수 있다. 이러한 상황은 교 실의 정보 인프라가 비교적 잘 구축되어 있는 한국에 비하여, 한국을 롤 모델로 최근 학교 급 별 정보 인프라를 구축하기 시작한 일본에서는 조금 양상으로 전개되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 양국의 초등 사회과 수업 중 유사한 주제를 바탕으로 구성된 사례를 들어, 수업 중 칠판의 활용 및 그 의미를 검토하였다. 이를 통하여 디지털 첨단기술과 아날로그적 수업기 술을 음미하고, 구성원의 소통이 살아있는 사회과 수업을 위한 매개체로서 ‘칠판’을 재해석 하고 활용해야 하는 필요성을 주장하였다.
The blackboard is one of essential elements for teaching process. For a long while, the board were communicate media between the members of the class. In recent years, it have diverse form and function through influence of technological advances. The information infrastructure of the classroom in Korea is a relatively well-established and the case of Japan, established actively up to recently. However, a lessons that using general blackboard (especially ICT – intensiveness) is judged outdate at nowadays especially in the schools of Korea . So, this study aims to reconsider the use of a blackboard in class and review its meaning through the case study about 6th grade's social studies class based on a similar topic in Korea & Japan. This study varies from the comparing study of digital & analog technology in the class. Constituents of class can using the board as a means of carrying on a conversation and getting the other person talking. Also, it should take care that the using of board is too concentrate on technical–intensive. I think re-interpreted blackboard as communication media is essential for the dynamic social studies class.
