The blackboard is one of essential elements for teaching process. For a
long while, the board were communicate media between the members of
the class. In recent years, it have diverse form and function through
influence of technological advances. The information infrastructure of the
classroom in Korea is a relatively well-established and the case of Japan,
established actively up to recently.
However, a lessons that using general blackboard (especially ICT –
intensiveness) is judged outdate at nowadays especially in the schools of
Korea .
So, this study aims to reconsider the use of a blackboard in class and
review its meaning through the case study about 6th grade's social studies
class based on a similar topic in Korea & Japan.
This study varies from the comparing study of digital & analog
technology in the class. Constituents of class can using the board as a
means of carrying on a conversation and getting the other person talking.
Also, it should take care that the using of board is too concentrate on
technical–intensive. I think re-interpreted blackboard as communication
media is essential for the dynamic social studies class.
