This research intended to examine an effect of psychodrama group
program on PTSD and self esteem of prostitution experienced women. This
research organized 2 experimental groups of Each 8 people prostitution
experienced women recommended by 2 group home for prostitution experienced
women. Psychodrama group program selected therapeutic spiral model of
Hudgins CD(containing double) method and trauma solving model of Dayton.
Both groups conducted 7 sessions of the program over 2 days. A group on
Mar. 25~26, 2009, B group on Apr. 17~18, 2009. Trauma test used traumatic
event scale of Willia traumatic experience of Jeon, DTS of Davidson, Malik,
Travers, and consisted of sub-factors such as traumatic reappearance,
symptoms of avoiding and paralysis, hyperarousal, complex symptoms. Also,
Self esteem test used SEI of Coopersmith. The program was organized 7
sessions over 2 days, and the whole time of execution is 21 times. And this
research divided in two tests and used Wilcoxon signed-rank respectively.
The conclusion of this research is that decrease of trauma showed significant
changes in post-test, it continued in post-test after 1 month but showed
difference about changes of sub-factors. For improvement of self-esteem,
there was no significant changes in post-test but it showed significant
effects of improvement in post-test after then.
