This study was conducted to investigate the relationships between leisure activity, leisure constraints and college adaptation of
the chinese students in Korea. As the chinese students in Korea are growing explosively, it is critical to examine various
influences on their college adaptation. For this reason, 300 chinese students were purposively sampled and the data of 252
students were consequently used for the result analysis. Exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and
means comparison were applied using SPSS 12.0. As results of this study, first, all leisure constraints showed significant
differences depending on whether the students participated in the leisure activities or not. Secondly, for the college adaptation
depending on the participations in their leisure activities, the learning adaptation did not show any significant difference but other
factors show significant differences. Lastly, a partial correlation was identified between the leisure constraints and the college
adaption of the chinese students in Korea.
