이 연구는 체육계열학과 학생들을 대상으로 학생만족도와 학과몰입의 관계를 규명하였다. 또한 학생들의 성별과 학년에 따라 학생만족과 학과몰입이 어떠한 차이를 보이는지도 분석하였다. 경기, 서울, 인천, 충청지역 4년제 7개 대학교의 체육계열학과 학생 610명을 선정하여 492(81%)명을 실제분석에 사용되었다. 학생만족도의 하위변인인 학생중심, 학사지도, 교육효율성 모두 종속변인 인 학과몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 변인들에 대한 성별과 학년 별 차이는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타 나지 않았다. 단지 학사지도에서 성별*학년 상호작용효과 만이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.
This research aimed to examine the relationship student satisfaction and organizational commitment for the students in the departments affiliated with physical education. This study also investigated the gender and grade differences on all variables. Data were collected from 610 students in the departments affiliated with physical education from 7 institutions of a 4-year university. The available data were 492(81%) students. All subdimensions(e.g., student centeredness, academic advising, and instructional effectiveness) of student satisfaction predicted significantly the organizational commitment. In the analysis of gender and grade differences on all variables, there was just the statistically significant interaction effect between gender and grade on academic advising.
