This study focuses on the developmental directions of cultural exchange between Korea and Japan among various national-level exchange activities of young people. Korea-Japan youth exchange program varies according to the subject including national entity||| local entity||| organization||| and companies as well as activity types of academic||| cultural||| sport||| religious contents||| travel||| and industry-visit. National-level exchange programs support the cost of stay in part or in all by the inviting country and local-level program exchanges periodically between sister cities in general. Youth organization activities implement based on mutual invitation between the organizations||| and company exchange project operates in accordance with business purposes among companies. The project||| "Forum on Youth Culture between Eight Cities/Provinces in Korea and Japan|||" can be emphasized as the 100 youth and youth leaders between eight regions of two countries worked together. The participants socialized with friendships by watching cultural activities and discussing about school culture as well as knowing Japanese culture in Korea and Korean culture in Japan. An exchange program such as "Youth Peace Boat" is proposed in order to raise understanding to the corresponding countries||| to enlarge the daily on-line communication as well as student travels||| and to create Asian culture for the development of youth exchange bewteen Korea and Japan.
