The purpose of this study was to analyze creativity and personality factors, learning goal and
educational contents included in physical education textbook of middle school. For this
purpose, I selected 8 kinds of text-books among total 12 kinds text-books which got pass in
2012 text-book evaluation. Analysis contents consisted of factors, learning goal and educational
contents of creativity and personality. First, 6 kinds of textbook included all of factors which
quoted in physical education curriculum, especially 3 kinds text-book suggested personal
factors such as cooperation, consideration and understanding. However, creative factors were
not presented variously in all of text-book. Second, learning goal of creativity and personality
were presented explicitly. Additionally learning goal and contents were similar to all of
text-book, which equal to each other compared to 2009 national curriculum. Third, all of
text-book except one in educational contents of creativity and personality suggested various
contents in areal leisure activity. But some of text-book included the contents which did not
related with creativity and personality.
