Moral conscience is an evaluative property and characterized by moral responsiveness. In this study, college students (N = 273) subjects were examined perceptions of moral conscience, which is the first period of conscience awareness, the influencing factors of conscience, the self-evaluation of conscience, the relevance of conscience and career. Depending on the level of conviction of moral conscience, the subjects are divided conscience conviction groups and conscience conflict groups to explore the perception of moral conscience. The result has shown that the first period of conscience awareness recognized that most of the students was in elementary school. The meaningful factors affecting the formation of conscience are parents and self. Conviction groups are more confident about their own conscience, self- evaluation in relation to others, a career choice in conscience than conflict groups. Thus, parenting and moral self-regulation in the development of moral conscience is considered as important factors to enhance the confidence of the moral conscience. Also, educational materials and methods of moral conscience should be developed in moral education.
