We tend to generalize the meaning of Education generically. Considering the purpose of education, an education in relation to personal life should be carefully looked into. This paper focused on the principles of Hans-Georg Gadamer's Egagogy which can be described to begin and end with him/her-self through one's explorative-process. Therefore, his terms, Wirkungsgeschichte (historically effected consciousness) in micro-narrative, and Vor-urteil(prejudices) for basis of human understanding, are studied. Also Self-understanding is revisited as a 'language' in which works as reflective and correctional behavior for prejudices. With these, this research has contemplate the meaning of Art education towards life and self-education. Because life and esthetic understanding of life can not be understood as separate entities. If child is capable of creating meanings with self-understanding then creative experiences are related to prejudices and Wirkungsgeschichte and could work as stimulant for representation(language, art etc.). And so Art Education of Egagogy should have the progressive esthetic attitudes towards creating values through him/her-self, and should return to now state of the student. Therefore this research focused on understanding art education as agagogy by respecting the esthetic Wirkungsgeschichte of students, paying attention to comprehensive opportunity with emotions of prejudice, and allowing chances to exploit his/her actions.
