이 연구는 분단구조하에서 변용되어온 남북한 교육이념을 남북화해시대의 요구에 맞게 해체하여 통일시대의 교육이념의 방향을 새로이 제시하는 데에 그 연구목적이 있다. 교육이념의 세 요소를 역사성(시간), 사회성(공간), 인간성(인간)의 세 요소로 나눌 수 있다면, 분단하에서 남북한 교육이념은 이러한 세 요소가 변용된 형태로서 왜곡성 · 대립성 · 통제성을 나타낸다. 이러한 분단구조적 특성을 통일시대의 요구에 맞게 해체하여 새로운 교육이념의 방향을 제시하기 위해 본 연구에서는 해체론적 접근을 시도하고 있다. 비판적 접목의 관점에서 도입된 아도르노 · 데리다 · 푸코의 해체론적 입장은 각각 왜곡성 · 대립성 · 통제성을 해체하여 새로운 통일시대의 역사성 · 사회성 · 인간성을 제시하는 데에 활용되며 이렇게 제시된 통일시대의 교육이념은 동일성신화의 해체(역사성), 적대적 이념체제의 해체(사회성), 탈분단구조적인 자율적 인간(인간성)으로 제시할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to deconstruct the Education Ideology in south Korea and North Korea. And this study is to examine the education ideology after unification, and to present an alternative direction for the unification education after unification by reviewing the current problems of the Education Ideology in South Korea and North Korea. The results of this study are as follows: First, The current unification education has not performed its role rightly owing to the 'systematized way of thinking'. Accordingly, it is about time that we tried to approach in a new way to discard the 'systematized way of thinking' and to deconstruct divided structural characteristics of the Education Ideology in south Korea and North Korea.. Second, Under a divided nation circumstances, a phase of the time, social life, and an ideal person of an educational ideal in South and North changed into distortion, antagonism, and regimentation that marked divided structural characteristics. Third, a phase of the time, social life, and an ideal person of an educational ideal in unified nation is substituted by denying the myth of identification, integrating the idea of capitalism and socialism, human-being having critical thinking.
