인간은 일생을 살아가면서 끊임없이 새로운 환경에 적응하며 살아가야 한다. 사회의 변화에 따라 자기의 욕구를 어떻게 조정해 나가느냐 하는 적응의 문제는 현대를 살아 가고 있는 누구에게나 중요한 문제이다. 특히 초기 아동기부터 청소년기에 이르기까지 많은 시간을 보내는 학교생활에서의 적응은 중요한 개인 발달 과제 중 하나로 볼 수 있다(Rutter, 1985). 학교는 가정으로부터 벗어나 사회의 일원이 되기 위한 사회화 훈련을 시작하는 곳 으로 공동체 생활을 통해서 단체 생활의 규칙을 익히고 바람직한 자아개념과 사회관, 가치관을 형성하게 되며 새로운 환경 속에서 조화롭게 잘 적응할 수 있는 힘을 길러 나갈 수 있도록 해준다(백정빈, 2008; 유병선, 2008). 특히 아동에서 청소년 전기로 접 어들게 되는 초등학교 고학년시기에는 학교생활을 통해 본격적으로 사회생활에 필요 한 대처기술을 배우게 되고 새로운 환경에서의 적응력을 키워나가기 때문에 이 시기 의 안정된 학교생활적응은 성인이 되어서까지 영향을 준다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the general tendency of parent attachment and Ego-Resilience and adaptation to school life. Then, search whether the Ego-Resilience had mediation effect on parent attachment and adaptation to school life. The following is the result summarization of the this research. First, the child's perception of parent attachment was generally higher than that of average score. The Ego-Resilience was higher than that of average score and showed in the order of curiosity, vitality, interpersonal relations, optimistic and emotion control. The adaptation to school life showed higher than average score and showed in the order of relationship with classmates, relationship with teachers, attitude in the class, school rules. Second, Ego-Resilience partially mediate the relations between parent attachment and adaptation to school life, and as sub factor of relationship with classmates relationship with teachers, attitude in the class, school rules had partial mediation effect.
