The purpose of this study was to examine the general tendency of parent attachment and Ego-Resilience
and adaptation to school life. Then, search whether the Ego-Resilience had mediation effect on parent
attachment and adaptation to school life.
The following is the result summarization of the this research.
First, the child's perception of parent attachment was generally higher than that of average score. The
Ego-Resilience was higher than that of average score and showed in the order of curiosity, vitality,
interpersonal relations, optimistic and emotion control. The adaptation to school life showed higher than
average score and showed in the order of relationship with classmates, relationship with teachers, attitude
in the class, school rules.
Second, Ego-Resilience partially mediate the relations between parent attachment and adaptation to
school life, and as sub factor of relationship with classmates relationship with teachers, attitude in the
class, school rules had partial mediation effect.
