The prototype of the idea of Poongryu has rooted in its 'original materials' including state-founding myths in the order of Korean ancient times, religious ceremonial customs(祭禮風俗) and shamanism(巫敎). The state-founding myths in the order of ancient times and the prototype of the idea of Poongryu are in very deep immanent relationship.
