This study compared and analyzed the differences occurring in creative problem solving process according to creativity styles, adaptor and innovator. Using TTCT, science gifted high school students were classified into two groups, four adaptors and four innovators. Three PBL problems were developed and PBL strategy was used during 9 science classes. The results are as follows. First, it was found that different characteristics showed in the level of socialization, law abiding, humor, and sincere attitudes. Second, each creativity style showed the different aspects in the PBL process. In Problem Recognition stage, adaptors were fully attentive while innovators were inattentive. In Problem Reestablishment stage, adaptors tried to keep the paradigm using elaboration and abstractness of titles while innovators doubted the assumption of the problem showing originality and fluency. In Searching Information stage, adaptors went through efficient and systematic process using elaboration and abstractness of titles while innovators approached information in a new and creative perspective using originality and fluency. In Problem Solving stage, adaptors carefully solved the problem in efficient and organized ways based on elaboration and abstractness of titles but innovators solved it inefficiently or in creative ways using originality and fluency.
