이 연구는 고등학생들의 환경소양에 대해 알아보고자 한 것이다. 이를 위해 경기도 부천시에 위치 한 J고등학교 2학년 학생 108명을 대상으로 환경소양 검사를 위한 설문을 실시하였다. 이에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반배경 조사에서, 학생들은 환경과 관련된 내용에 대하여 53.7% 이상 이 주로 학교의 교과시간이나 재량시간, 그리고 가정에서 자율적으로 학습하는 순으로 나타났다. 둘 째, 우리주변의 환경과 환경 문제에 대하여 학생들의 63.9% 이상이 “보통 수준”의 관심을 보이는 것으로 보아 환경이나 환경문제에 대한 인식이 보통 수준의 중간정도 임을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 학 생들은 환경과 환경 문제에 관한 정보를 주로 텔레비전과 라디오, 인터넷을 통하여 접하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 대부분의 학생들은 환경관련 활동 프로그램에 참가해 본 경험이 전혀 없거나 (50.9%), 1-2회(43.5%)로 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 학생들의 환경소양 검사결과 68.1% 정도의 수준임을 알 수 있었고, 성별로는 여학생이 남학생보다 약간 높았다. 여섯째, 환경소양은 캠프 경험 이 없는 것보다 참여해 본 경험이 있는 학생에서 높았다.
The purpose of the study was to investigate on high school students’ environmental literacy. For this study, a survey was conducted to 108 11th grade students who were enrolled in J high school located in Bucheon. The results were as follows: First, it was found that they know the information relating to the environment at the discretionary time or the curriculum time(53.7%), next through the autonomous learning for the environment at home. Second, with respect to environmental issues around us, they were interested in the "normal level" of students is more than 63.9%. Third, it was found that they were obtained the information for the environmental issues by the radio, television and internet. Fourth, the experience participated in environmental camp program is not at all 50.9%, 43.5%. showed a 1-2 times participation. Fifth, students' environmental literacy test score was about 68.1%, it showed a low level. Sixth, it was higher in student with some experience who participated than that there is no experience of the environmental camp. Therefore, in order to improve the environmental literacy of students, various programs such as environmental camp may need to be provided to them.
