This purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship between such variables
as building organizational learning, learning motivation and learning satisfaction in community
of practice. In order to achieve this purpose, this study had specifically questions as follows:
The first was to examine the effect of building organizational learning on learning motivation
in community of practice. The second was to examine the effect of building organizational
learning on learning satisfaction in community of practice. The third was to examine the
effect of learning motivation on learning satisfaction in community of practice. The fourth is
to examine the effect of building organizational learning on learning satisfaction according to
learning motivation in community of practice.
A questionnaire was used as the research instrument. A total number of 311 facilitators
and employees in community of practice responded to questionnaire. In order to estimate the
hypothesized structural equation model, the collected data were analyzed AMOS 17.0, a
statistical program for structural equation modeling.
The major findings of this study were as follows; First, the building organizational
learning was found to have a direct effect and an indirect effect on learning satisfaction in
community of practice. Second, building organizational learning was found to have a direct
effect on learning motivation in community of practice. Third, the learning motivation was
found to have a direct effect on learning satisfaction in community of practice.
Based upon these results, several suggestions were made to improve learning satisfaction
through building organizational learning and learning motivation in community of practice.
