The purpose of this study was to examine the difficulty of the process of individual counseling, to examine the contents of education in individual counseling supervision that are presently enforced, and to examine the quality of the counselors in the educational needs and supervision. For this purpose, I gave a questionnaire of 6 categories and 23 questions to 135 counselors who received counselor education on graduate level and had experience in individual counselling supervision. Their individual counseling experience levels range from \"novice\", \"intermediate\", \"advanced\" according to the number of counseling. The result of this study is as following. First, there was significant difficulty, regardless of the level of experience, in some of individual counseling process. All the groups had similarly high degrees of difficulty in the following two categories: \"case conceptualization\", \"counseling planning and case management\". Second, The individual counseling supervision education need was high in all of the following three categories: \"case conceptualization\" , \"awareness\", and \"counseling planning and case management\". Third, The contents dealt with in the individual counseling supervision, regardless of the experience levels, was focused on these three categories : \"case conceptualization,\" \"awareness,\" and \"counseling planning and case management\". Fourth, The satisfaction about the individual counseling supervision education contents appeared, when the counselors experienced difficulties, especially in \"case conceptualization,\" \"awareness,\" and \"counseling planning and case management\" where their scores were lower. Thus, supervision gave the necessary and proper satisfaction to the counselors. These results suggest the possibility of the following conclusions. First, the contents of individual counseling supervision of all three experience levels must be emphasized in all of the following parts: \"the appraisal of clients\' problems\", \"the awareness of core messages\", \"the techniques in the making of treatment objectives, treatment planning\", and \"the treatment intervention\". Second, the differences between the three levels in of the contents of the education in Individual counseling supervision were comparatively clear. It is implied that supervisor make an effort in developing more discrimination counselling education program and various education methods about the result.
