본 연구는 최근 사회복지를 둘러싼 다양한 환경변화에 따라 한국사회복지협의회의 발전적 기능의 방향제시를 위해 수행되었다. 자료수집은 16개 전국 광역시 도 사회복지협의회와 69개 시군구 사회복지협의회 전수를 대상으로 이루어졌다. 15개 전국 광역시 도 사회복지협의회와 15개 시군구 사회복지협의회로부터 수집된 자료는 SPSS/PC+ 12.0을 사용하여 분석되었다. 연구조사 결과를 토대로 살펴볼 때, 사회복지협의회는 첫째, 사회복지협의회의 정체성 확립과 위상제고 둘째, 사회복지협의회의 조직개혁 셋째, 사회복지협의회의 사업 활성화 넷째, 재정조달의 새로운 돌파구 마련 다섯째, 타 기관 단체와의 협력강화 여섯째, 지역사회인지도 향상을 위한 홍보강화 및 국제관계 개선을 이룩할 필요가 있다.
According to the changes of social welfare environments, this study wishes to suggest the direction of advanced functions of KNCSW(Korea National Council on Social Welfare). The research of this study was conducted on 85 local KNCSW. And retuned data from 30 local KNCSW was analyzed through descriptive analysis using the SPSS 12.0. To sum up the results of the study, KNCSW do the following: 1) to set up the identities of KNCSW, 2) to reform the organization of KNCSW, 3) to promote the works and activities of KNCSW, 4) to make the new windows of finances, 5) to enforce of the collaborations with other organization, 6) to enforce the public information and improve the international relationships.
