hyperactivity and anxiolytic behavior in the open field test, elevated plus-maze test, and forced-swim test. Biologically, the number of astrocytes was significantly increased in the prefrontal cortex of MSS adolescent rats. The hyperactive and anxiolytic phenotype and biological alteration produced by this MSS protocol may provide a useful animal model for investigating the neurobiology of psychiatric disorders of childhood-onset diseases, such as attention deficient hyperactive disorder. -

analyzed using frequency counts, simple percentage and mean. The results showed that majority of the respondents in all the schools strongly agreed with the attributes associated with the expectations of a good administrator of nursery/primary schools, problem identified was irregular payment of school fees while pupils’- teacher’s ratio was in good order. despite cultural differences. We conducted a systematic review of Chinese literature on parent involvement and analyzed underlying assumptions on rationales for parent involvement, on how parent involvement is configured, on guanxi and social inclusion, and eventually on the meaning of early childhood education. We found that while traditional important Chinese values are missing in dominant literature, there is also an increasing influence from U.S. literature on Chinese policy and practice.
