cells were pretreated with different metabolic inhibitors. Our results revealed that low temperature disturbed the uptake of magnetic nanoparticles into the cells. Metabolic inhibitors also prevented the delivery of the materials into cells. Use of TEM clearly demonstrated that uptake of the nanoparticles was mediated through endosomes. In order to achieve higher efficiency and better performance in the energy generated from the wastes, several new ideas and innovative thermal technologies have been developed and introduced: pyrolysis, gasification, and liquefaction with less green-house gas emissions. -

Results indicated that Investigating Earth Systems included almost half the entire pages of energy module were consisted of questions in which experiential questions were dominantly used. In addition, both lowerorder and higher-order questions were used in balance throughout the entire module of energy. The energy-related concept dealt in Investigating Earth Systems reflected well what was suggested in NSES. The implications were discussed in this paper. -

Third, as the education of renewable energy is often provided as a project, this paper introduced one project to see how K-12 education about the renewable energy is implemented in schools. Suggestions are made to promote the development of a good curriculum for renewable energy education at the end. -
