본 연구에서는 자동차 휠 축의 형상별 구조강도에 대하여 Model 1 및 2의 두가지 종류의 시뮬레 이션 모델들에 대하여 해석을 수행하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. Model 1에서 바퀴와 축 사 이의 용접부에서 최대 응력인 165.11MPa이 집중적으로 발생되었고, 그 용접 부분을 보강한 Model 2 에서는 응력이 분산되어 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 사용하여 차량의 휠 축의 설계에 응용한다면 그 내구성을 평가하는 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 사료된다. -
