A recent tendency toward pluralism all over the world demands the change of existing Korean political power structure which has distorted the normal social development. At least, until the 6th Republic, the Korean society had suffered the political dictatorship under the powerful military authoritarianism with rapid modernization. The government of Kim, Young-sam also did not liquidated fundamentally political abuses of the past attitude in the process of decision of policy, which are, no doubt, due 새 the violation of the principle of separation of powers. As it were, the strong presidential executive dominates still over the Administration, the National Assembly and the judiciary. This article seeks for the reason why the existing Korean presidential system has many political problems. Therefore, it focuses its major part on the political structures of the Blue House, presidential palace, in order to examine closely such political problems. Above all, it analyzes the cause of political abuses of the Office of the President.
