이 연구에서의 목적은 개정 체육과 교육과정의 특징이라고 할 수 있는 간접체험활동을 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 체육 검정교과서들이 어떠한 방식으로 얼마나 제시하였는지를 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2009 개정 교육과정에 따라 4개 출판사에서 개발한 5․6학년군 8종의 검정교과서를 대상으로 자료를 수집하였고, 수집한 자료는 귀납적 범주분석을 통한 내용분석으로 결과를 생성하였으며 자료의 진실성을 높이기 위해 동료간 협의가 이루어졌다. 수집된 957개의 간접체험활동은 소영역(57개), 중영역(18개), 대영역(6개)으로 범주화 되었고, 출판사별/영역별로 제시된 개수에 있어서 상당한 차이가 있었으나 그 차이에 있어 의미 있고 특징적인 특성을 발견할 수는 없었다. 대영역인 간접체험활동 유형은 쓰기형(345개, 36.05%), 말하기형(253개, 26.44%), 탐구하기형(148개, 15.46%), 평가하기형(103개, 10.76%), 읽기형(57개, 5.96%), 해보기형(51개, 5.33%)으로 분류되었으며, 간접체험활동의 구체성과 실천가능성을 분석한 결과 쓰기형과 해보기형, 평가하기형은 구체성이 높았으나 말하기형과 탐구하기형은 구체성과 실천가능성이 떨어졌고, 읽기형은 다른 활동으로의 연계성이 부족했다.
The purpose of this study was to confirm how much the authorized elementary school physical education textbooks which follow the 2009 curriculum revision introduced the indirect experience activity that was the characteristics of the revised physical education curriculum. So it collected 8 authorized textbooks for 5th and 6th graders that were developed by 4 publishers according to the 2009 curriculum revision. Then it produced a result through inductive category analysis. Peer debriefing established the trustworthiness of data The study found 957 indirect experience activities. They were categorized into small area (57), medium area (18) and large area (6) after the analysis. The indirect experience activities of large area were categorized into writing type, speaking type, exploring type, evaluating type, reading type and experiencing type. Concreteness and practicality were high with writing type, experience type and evaluating type. But Concreteness and practicality were low with speaking type and exploring type. Reading type lacked the connectivity to other activities.
