This study is related to the high school students' majoring program, analyzes the perception
difference of majoring program career between the parents, the disability students according to
the education environment and the degrees of the disability. It also analyzes the majoring program
and the career determinants, so it provides basic materials for a better way to go forward for
majoring program and majoring program career activation. In order to achieve this purpose, I
chose the following issues.
First, is there any difference according to the learning environment for perception of the parents
and career determinants for majoring program career?
Second, what is the difference of the parents' perception and career determinants about
majoring program career in accordance with the child's disability?
To solve these problems, I selected intentionally 90 parents of the high school students with
disabilities in nationwide special school and special classes. I distributed surveys 180 people, and
my research was carried out. By performing statistical processing on the data excluding the data
of the number of insufficient material, I analyze the parents' perception difference of disability
students about high school students' majoring program career and majoring program
determinants according to the children's education atmosphere and the degree of their disabilities.
In this study, to evaluate the impact of the determinants of parental perceptions about majoring
program and the career of high school students with disabilities, first, in order to analyze the
perceptions of parents for their children's education major program career, they took the
independent sample T-test. Second, to analyze the perception of parents about majoring program
career according to the degree of disability, they took a one-way ANOV A, if there is any
significant difference appears or not. I analyze through the Scheffe, they took post-test at the level
5%. Third, I conducted a logistic regression analysis to analyze the career determinants of parents
about their children's majoring program career. The results of this study are as follows.
First, there was a significant difference about the parents' perception and the career
determinants for majoring program career according to the children's educational environment.
Second, according to the children's degree of disability, there was a significant difference of the parents' perception and career determinant about their children's majoring program career.
Therefore, we need to identify the needs of the parents in accordance with the learning
environment of students with disabilities, the degree of disabilities, and we need to improve the
major program management aspects, educational contents aspects, relevant linkage aspects of jobs.
As described above, there was a significant difference according to the children's educational
environment and the degree of their disabilities in relation to high school students' majoring
program career, there were differences between disability parents' awareness and the
determinants for their majoring program career.
