본 연구에서는 과학 교사 전문성과 관련된 국내 연구의 최근 동향을 알아보기 위하여 2005년부터 2014년까지 국내 등재학술지 및 등재후보학술지에 게재된 총 67편의 논문을 연구내용, 연구방법, 교사의 학교급 및 영재 지도 여부라는 준거로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 분석 준거인 연구내용에서는 교사 전문성의 이론 및 정의, 측정도구개발에 비하여 교사 전문성의 진단 및 실태를 연구한 논문 의 비율이 매우 높았으며, 연구방법에서는 질적 연구가 가장 많았고 최근에 많이 연구되는 혼합 연구의 비율은 가장 낮게 나타났다. 조사된 교사의 학교급에서는 중등 교사의 비율이 높았고 상대 적으로 초등 교사의 비율이 낮았다. 비록 영재학생을 지도하는 교사에 비하여 일반학생을 지도하 는 교사와 관련된 논문이 많았지만, 전체 교사에 대한 영재교사의 비율을 고려할 때 영재교사의 전문성에 대한 비율은 낮지 않았다. 연구 결과를 토대로 중등 교사와는 다른 환경에서 과학을 지 도하는 초등 교사의 과학 전문성에 대한 정의의 재고, 과학 교사의 전문성을 평가하는 도구의 변 화 필요성에 대한 시사점 등을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate research trends about science teachers' professionalism through the review of articles published from 2005 to 2014 in Korea. The total 67 articles were chosen by key words(science teacher, professionalism) from databases of Korean Studies Information Service System and RISS and analyzed by classification framework, such as purpose of study(definition, survey of actual condition, development of professionalism), methodology of study(qualitative, quantitative, and mixed research), school level of subject of study(elementary, secondary teacher) etc. The results of this study were as follows: Field diagnosis and actual condition about professionalism of teachers occupied the most weighted proportion on purpose of study. The most applied methodology was qualitative research, and it was followed by quantitative research and mixed research. Most of subjects of study were secondary school teachers. Based on results of this study, characteristics of research trends of professionalism and implications for further research of teachers' professionalism in Korea were discussed.
