The primary purpose of this study is to examine factors that influence Teacher
Professional Community. Instructional Leadership, Distributed Leadership, School Climate are
identified as independent variables through the critical investigation of the literatures related
to Teacher Professional Community. For the statistical analysis, correlation analysis and
regression analysis were undertaken with SPSS 12.0.
The two research questions were addressed in the study. First, how do the variables of
this study(Teacher Professional Community, Instructional Leadership, Distributed Leadership,
School Climate) relate each other? Second, how do the variables of this study(Instructional
Leadership, Distributed Leadership, School Climate) affect Teacher Professional Community?
Major findings from research questions are as follows: First, considering the analysis
results, we could find a correlation between Teacher Professional Community, Instructional
Leadership, Distributed Leadership, School Climate. Second, School Climate had effects on
Teacher Professional Community. Third, Instructional Leadership, Distributed Leadership had
effects on School Climate. We suggested some policy suggestions as followings: First, school
administrators should improve School Climate to activate Teacher Professional Community.
Second, school administrators should utilize Distributed Leadership and Instructional
Leadership to improve School Climate.
