Purpose: The purpose of this study were to analyze the correlations between the strengths of preschoolers and
their adaptations to the early childhood educational institutes, and to examine the influences of each factor of
their strengths on their adaptations to such environments. Method: To do these, this study conducted an
examination of 380 preschoolers in the classes for 4 to 5 year-olds in an early childhood educational institutes
located in G province, using each set of criteria in preschooler strengths and adaptation to the educational
institutes. With the collected data, a descriptive statistics, the pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis
were conducted by using the SPSS 21.0 program. Results: As the first result of the analyses, the strengths of
preschoolers and their adaptations to the early childhood educational institutes turned out to be positively
correlated. Secondly, as a result of reviewing the influences, the strengths of preschoolers and their sub-factors of
preschoolers' strengths on their adaptations to the early childhood educational institutes were identified to be
highly influential. Conclusion: The result of this study suggests that academical support is needed considering
the strengths of preschoolers for their adaptations to the early childhood educational institutes.
