Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine what the teachers at child care center for young children with
special needs experienced through the participation in the storytelling teacher program. Method: For this study,
the storytelling teacher training was constructed, and six teachers were included in this study as participants.
Results: As a result of this study, the teachers had fears on storytelling, and they had expectations on
participating in the program to get rid of their fears as well. They mentioned that they could get self-esteems
and positive attitudes on utilization of storytelling after participating the teacher training. Also, their skills on
ways of applying storytelling were improved in practice. Conclusion: According to the result, the discussions
were suggested.
