The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of young children's creativity development,
to suggest the role of teachers for practicing early childhood creativity education, and to analyze the
literature on the role support for teachers.
First, The role of teachers who practice early childhood creativity education is not only the
understanding of the meaning of creativity, but also practices divided into teaching for creativity and
teaching creativity. Second, to support teacher's role as teaching and practicing early childhood creativity
education, this study suggested a well-prepared plan and analysis tool should be developed. This plan
included systematic education of creativity teachers who teach students in early childhood. Also, it was
suggested that a program and tool should be developed to analyze and evaluate the creative teachings,
policy and supports for early childhood teachers.
Based on the results of this study, we propose a direction was proposed, which can be utilized for
teacher training and in-service teacher training program for early childhood creativity education in the
future.
