본 연구는 지적장애아동에 대한 감정표현훈련이 통합학급 동료에 의하여 지각된 공감능력 및 대인관계에 미치는 효과를 분석하려는 것이다. 이를 위하여 3명의 지적장애아동을 대상으로 감정 표현훈련을 실시하였다. 그들의 통합학급 동료에 의하여 지각된 공감능력 및 대인관계의 차이는 프로그램 진행 전과 후의 점수로 비교하였다. 공감능력 및 대인관계 점수는 독립표본 t검증과 단 계적 회귀분석(stepwise regression analysis)에 의하여 비교되었다. 분석된 결과는 다음과 같다. 지적장애아동에 대한 감정표현훈련이 공감능력에 미친 효과를 분석한 결과, 공감능력 전체와 하 위영역 중 기쁨, 슬픔, 불안영역은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 그러나 심리적 부담 영역은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 회귀분석 결과, 공감능력은 기쁨, 심리적 부담, 슬픔 그리고 불안영역 순으로 관련된 것으로 나타났다. 대인관계에 미친 효과를 분석한 결과, 대인관계 전체와 하위영역인 만족감, 의사소통, 친근감, 그리고 개방성 영역 모두에서 통계적으로 유의한 차 이를 나타내었다. 회귀분석 결과 대인관계는 친근감, 만족감, 개방성 그리고 의사소통 순으로 관계 되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 감정표현훈련 프로그램의 구성, 공감 및 이타 성과의 관계 등에 대하여 논의하였다.
The goal of this research was to analyze emotional expression training for intellectual disabilities’ effect on inclusive classmates perception of intellectual disabilities’ empathy ability and interpersonal relationship. For this purpose three intellectual disabilities received emotional expression training. Inclusive classmates’ perceptions of intellectual disabilities’ empathy abilities and interpersonal relationship were measured before and after the emotional expression training and the differences were analyzed with independent sample t-test and stepwise regression analysis. The results are as follows. The result was show statistically meaningful differences on empathy ability and sub-components of happiness, sadness and anxiety. But there was no meaningful difference shown on psychological burden area. Regression analysis shows that empathic ability were related with happiness, psychological burden, sadness and anxiety in this order. Analysis on interpersonal relationship was showed statistically meaningful differences on interpersonal relationship and sub-components of contentment, communication, friendliness and openness area. Regression analysis showed that interpersonal relationship was related with friendliness, contentment, openness and communication in this order. With this analysis, this paper were discussed composition on emotional expression training program and relationship between empathy and altruism.
