The Honam Welfare Training Corporation(HWTC) has set a target as ‘cultivation of social welfare human resources customized for community’ and made a research for improvement of education program as the basic work to cultivate the high-quality human resources. Thus, a survey was carried out for comparison of performing level of standardized job between the social workers newly-employed and the social workers in middle management at social welfare agencies, and the result of the survey was analyzed through investigation as to whether the professors of social welfare educated the standardized job or not and whether the education was of importance to the scene of job, if provided. In the first stage of this study this researcher made the analysis about the job level of social workers and the actual conditions of university education. In the second stage, I set up the level of target for education and produced the task elements that should be reflected in curriculum, and then, on the basis of them I drew up the concrete schemes to improve education programs. As a result, this study extracted 30 task elements in great request of education among 85 task elements and decided the subjects that should be educated in priority for each task element.
