It is aimed to suggest the support to release the burden of mother’s physical care-giving labor for the profound (the primary degree) mental retardation of adult at home. The role of mothers is at the physical care-giving labor related to mental retardation health, clothes, food, and housing for the profound (the primary degree) mental retardation of adult. In this sense, at the adulthood, the burden of the mid-and the old-mother’s physical care-giving labor is highly related to the mothers’ physical stress. Therefore, the mothers of care-giving for the mental retardation of adult need to share with other support systems.
For this, this study is through the qualitative interview two mid-mothers with physical care-giving labor for the profound (the primary degree) mental retardation of adult (18 years old or the older) and collect the data the burden of mother’s physical care-giving labor and from these results it is suggested for the support to release the burden of mother’s physical care-giving labor for the profound (the primary degree) mental retardation of adult.
