본 논문의 목적은 ‘장애인 등에 대한 특수교육법(이하 ‘특수교육법’이라 칭함)’의 통합교육 관련 내용이 실제적 지원을 가능하게 할 법적 필수 내용을 얼마나 담고 있는지, 그리고 우리나라 통합교육의 실천을 가능하게 할 제도적 내용과 방해 요인이 무엇인지를 분석하는 데에 있다. 본 논문이 고찰한 특수교육법에서의 가능성과 한계성 내용은 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다: 첫째, 특수교육법이 담고 있는 통합교육 관련내용은 특수교육 중심의 개념을 근거로 구성되어 있다. 둘째, 통합교육 관련 차별금지조항 등의 내용이 들어 있어, 통합교육 실천의지를 담고 있다. 셋째, 통합교육의 실천방안이 충분하지 않다. 넷째, 통합교육을 지원할 행정지원 내용이 없다. 다섯째, 통합교육을 위한 교사 수행능력 제고 방안이 부족하다.
The article purposes on considering some possibilities and limites in terms of inclusion in the 2007 Korean Special Education Law. The article describes following considering: First, the Law stresses special education centered inclusion. Second, the Law includes discrimination -prohibition of disabilities, therefore it has some possibilities on improving inclusion. Third, the Law does not describe plentiful strategies on inclusion practices. Forth, there is no comments on administration support system for inclusion practices. Fifth, there is poor strategies on improving teaching skills for inclusion. Key words : Inclusion, Inclusion-support, School Restructuring
