우리 민족 정서의 진수라고 할 수 있는 우리나라 전통음악 감상을 통하여 우리나라 전통음악 그 자체에 내재되어 있는 멋이나 특성의 아름다움을 찾도록 노력하는 것이 바람직하다. 또 한국인 특유의 신명과 음악적 감성을 느끼고 한민족 고유의 정신적 유 산을 계승하여 우리의 민족정신을 음악을 통해 이해하고 나아가 새로운 문화 흡수에 대한 올바른 가치관을 형성하여 민족 문화를 발전적으로 계승 발전시키는데 이바지하 는 한국적인 정신을 심어주는 것이 중요하다고 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 전통음악 기악곡 감상을 하는데 있어서 단순히 듣고 지나가 는 감상보다는 우리나라 전통음악 기악곡의 지적요소인 악기음색, 악곡의 형식, 악곡의 선율과 농현 등의 이해와 악곡의 아름다움을 다양한 방법으로 학습할 수 있도록 지도방 안을 모색하여 우리나라 전통음악기악곡 감상학습이 용이하도록 하는데 목적이 있다.
Korean traditional music is the essence of emotion of the Korean race. So, to our students, I think that is desired to make them try to find the immanent beauty of relishes and special qualities in Korean traditional music itself. And we have to make them feel the enthusiasm and sensibility - some of national traits of Koreans - and succeed to the mental property of the Korean race and understand the spirit of the Korean race by music. By this process it is the important thing that make the reasonable value to accept new culture of our students so they can contribute to succeeding the culture of Korean race successfully and developmental by the spirit like Korean that will be taught by us. This paper, I presented various way to appreciate the beauty of Korean traditional instrumental music and ways to understand the intellectual factors of Korean traditional music like : the timbre of each instrument, forms of tunes, melodies and techniques to touch the strings. With these plans, I hope it will be better ways to appreciate Korean traditional instrumental music for our students not for just listening and passing by.
