본 연구의 목적은 성격관련 리더십교육의 발전 방향으로 대상관계이론 적용 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 현재 해군 충무공 리더십센터는 교류분석(Transactional Analysis)이론을 도입, 성격관련 리더십 교육의 이론적 배경중 하나로 활용하고 있다. 이번 연구에서는 현재의 성격관련 리더십교육을 토대로 보다 심화된 성격 교육 과정을 마련하기 위해 대상관계이론의 주요 내용을 근거로 성격관련 심화 교육 과정 개발과 활용 방안을 검토해 보았다. 이를 위한 이론적 배경으로 유아기 성격발달과정 및 성격장애행동 유형 등에 대한 임상적인 이론 근거를 제시하고 있는 대상관계이론의 주요 내용을 소개 했다. 이어서 현 성격관련 리더십 교육에 대상관계이론을 적용해야 하는 방안의 필요성과 근거를 제시했으며, 이를 바탕으로 대상관계이론을 적용한 교육 프로그램에 대한 대략적 개념과 교육 내용을 정리하고 이에 따른 기대효과를 검토해 보았다 본 연구를 통해 제시된 심화학습 교육 프로그램 모델 즉, 교류분석을 중심으로 한 1단계 교육과 대상관계이론을 중심으로 한 2단계 교육이라는 단계별 성격 교육은 해군의 리더십 교육 수준을 한 단계 높이는 방안이 될 것이다.
The objective of this research is to find ways to apply Object Relation theory in the development of character-related leadership education. Currently, Naval Chumugong Leadership Center employes transactional analysis in the character-related leadership education. In the suggested research, the applicability of Object Relation theory to the development of advanced course for character-related education was reviewed. Major contentions and theoretical background of Object Relation theory, which is a logical ground on character development process of the childhood and personal disorder patterns, etc, were introduced. Likewise, necessity of introducing and applying Object Relation theory to current character-related leadership education was elaborated and overall concept and contents of the educational programs applying Object Relation theory was explained along with their desired effects. This research is expected to enhance the level of naval leadership education by improving current education based upon transaction analysis through Object Relation theory centered education.
