The objective of this research is to find ways to apply Object Relation theory in the development of character-related leadership education. Currently, Naval Chumugong Leadership Center employes transactional analysis in the character-related leadership education. In the suggested research, the applicability of Object Relation theory to the development of advanced course for character-related education was reviewed. Major contentions and theoretical background of Object Relation theory, which is a logical ground on character development process of the childhood and personal disorder patterns, etc, were introduced. Likewise, necessity of introducing and applying Object Relation theory to current character-related leadership education was elaborated and overall concept and contents of the educational programs applying Object Relation theory was explained along with their desired effects.
This research is expected to enhance the level of naval leadership education by improving current education based upon transaction analysis through Object Relation theory centered education.
