본 연구는 기후변화에 대한 전형적 인식상황 사례를 조사하고, 이를 바탕으로 기후변화 와 관련된 생각을 조사하는 데 있어서 전형적 인식상황의 활용 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 전형적 인식상황은 사물, 개념, 상황 등과 같은 어떤 대상에 대해서 혹은 그와 관련해서 생각할 때 즉시적이고 자동적으로 떠오르는 상황을 말한다. 전형적 인식상황은 학생들의 생각이 드러 나며, 초기 판단에도 영향을 미친다고 기존 연구들이 보고하고 있었다. 실제로 6명의 기후변화 에 대한 전형적 인식상황을 조사한 결과, 기후변화에 대한 응답자의 관점과 직관적 생각이 나타 났다. 아울러서, 응답자의 배경이나 주요 관심 등에 따라 상이한 전형적 인식상황을 가지고 있 음이 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 전형적 인식상황이 기후변화와 관련된 학생들의 직관적인 생각 을 파악하는 도구로 활용될 수 있음을 보여준다.
The purpose of this study is to explore the possibilities of application of Typically- Perceived-Situation (TPS) in elementary school, which investigates peoples' ideas related to ‘climate change.’ This study utilized a few cases of TPSs about ‘climate change’ for this investigation. TPS used in the study refers to the situation rising spontaneously and immediately in an individual’s mind when he/she faces a thing, a concept, and a situation, and so on. As a result of analyzing the 6 persons’ TPS about ‘climate change’, their views and intuitive ideas about climate change reflected on their TPSs. In addition, it was found that their TPSs are different according to their interests and backgrounds. These results showed that TPS is possible to play a role as a tool for investigation on peoples' intuitive ideas related to ‘climate change’.
